Friday again so soon? What is it about summertime that seems to make time go so quickly? I've been having fun picnicking, visiting with friends, and generally enjoying Vancouver's finally-sunny (and thankfully not-too-hot) weather.
The only sewing I've done this week is to complete my Christmas in July project and tutorial. Editing photos and writing the tutorial is lots of work but lots of fun too.
But someone ELSE has been stitching and very beautifully, I might add. I received a lovely email this week from Nicole, who was inspired by my Easy Going Modern quilt and sewed up a variation as a charity quilt with her guild. She halved the size of blocks, increased the number and went to town. Check it out:
Isn't it wonderful? It's my Felicity for today - knowing that I inspired someone's beautiful quilt.
Have a terrific weekend! Mine includes a workshop on Easy Going Modern - I'm a bit nervous so please wish me luck!
Have fun at your class! Looking forward to seeing what you do. Kamloops is HOT!ReplyDelete

How wonderful that Nicole shared her colourful quilt with you! I'm looking forward to this weekend's workshop and I know no matter what you say, you'll have your characteristic smile with you and we'll all have a great time!ReplyDelete
