WIP Wednesday

I am taking a while to get back into the groove of things after the holidays – how about you? I think that WIP Wednesday is a great place to start my routine again, however.

I’m going to try a new format for my WIP Wednesday posts to see how I like it. So going by the list over on my sidebar there, this is where I’m at:

New projects:

Super exciting secret project. I’m thiiiiis close to being ready to share. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of the basted project, all ready for me to get quilting. I had grand plans to spend the evening quilting last night but they were foiled by a not-sleepy-because-of-a-late-nap 4-year-old. She was back at school today, so I have high hopes for Mama time this evening.

Progress:

Mom’s placemats. They’re all quilted, and the binding is attached. Just have to stitch it down using the machine. Those suckers are taking a lot longer than I expected!

No progress:
Rainbow I Spy
Habitat Challenge Pillow Covers
Heather R memory quilt
Charity Quilt
Kaleidoscope (turning this into a leaders/enders project)
New Wave
Bee quilt (Jewel Squares)
Bee quilt (Circle of Geese)

This week’s stats:

  2. I'm curious about your secret project! Can't wait for the reveal. The colour scheme reminds me of the modern blocks of the month from Sew Mama Sew.

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
