Pneumonia. PNEUMONIA!!!! Specifically, "a little bit of" pneumonia in my right lung. No wonder it hurt so much to cough. I thought (still do, actually) I'd pulled a muscle with my coughing. Maybe I did, but the pain was amplified.
Anyhoo, I've got me some antibiotics (which are going to put a serious crimp in my wine-drinking plans for this weekend when we go for a little getaway with another family) and I am feeling okay.
I even did some more sewing last night! This wonky star block came together super duper quickly - I could definitely see a whole quilt made this way. It's for Leona for the Sew & Bee Happy Bee, who asked for red and aqua stars on a white or grey background, and put us on to the definitive Wonky Star Tutorial. That's Kona Medium Gray, which is hard to tell in the photo. Ah the hazards of nighttime sewing - bad light for photographing your finished product!
I'm so sorry to hear about your tiny bit of pneumonia! Get well soon :) I love your wonky star, it's just lovely, and I totally agree, that is the best tutorial out there for wonky stars. Great job!ReplyDelete
Oh my! Pneumonia sounds horrible. I hope you are much better very soon and over all that coughing. Stars make me happy when I see them laying all over my sewing table. Make a few more and I'm sure you'll feel like your old self in no time :)ReplyDelete
Oh dear... pneumonia... I've had it so can sympathize totally. Hope you're feeling better very quickly and rest as much as you can...ReplyDelete
Sorry to hear about the pneumonia, Felicity! Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and you're back to normal soon!ReplyDelete
Nice job on the wonky star - I recently used the same tutorial for a bee and really liked it!
I love the wonkiness of that star!ReplyDelete
p.s. how rude of me! Feel better!!ReplyDelete
Ohhh... I just got over that about a month ago. Take VERY good care of yourself because it is easy to relapse!ReplyDelete
Listen to Jennifer, my advice is the same! Great star. Hope you're able to have a fun (sober) weekend.ReplyDelete
Oh no! Feel better!ReplyDelete
