Friday Felicities

 Friday Felicities @ Felicity Quilts

Hello, friends! I've got two three big Felicities to share for today.

First, QuiltCon! I was frantically excitedly refreshing my browser yesterday morning at 7am Pacific Time, waiting for the registration site to open. It did, and everything went smoothly with my registration.

I'm taking three workshops: a full day with Sherri Lynn Wood, where I will be Getting My Curve On; a half-day with Denyse Schmidt, making a string-pieced zippy purse; and finally a half-day with Angela Walters on Quilting Negative Space. Get Your Curve On sold out in minutes and I am so so happy that I was able to get a spot.

But wait! There's more! I'm participating in a Blogger's Block of the Month (BOM) series with Dhia of Peach Patch Quilts.

 Peach Patch Quilts

Starting in September, twelve bloggers will take turns hosting a block tutorial each month. There will be prizes! Each blogger will be sharing a unique block, so if you sew along with us, you'll have a lovely sampler at the end of it all. Won't you join us? There's a Flickr Group and everything!

And finally, I got off the fence regarding Twitter. I'm @FelicityQuilts.

Have a great weekend - the last official one of the summer. I know Fall doesn't officially start until mid-September but it's already cooling off here (YAHOOOO!) and I smell Fall in the air.

  1. Glad your registration went well, although I admit to feeling a little, well a LOT, envious...I had planned on going and even had a room reservation. :(

    Cool on the BOM!

It doesn't feel at ALL like fall around here...

  2. What a fabulous Friday! We're going to have so much fun at QuiltCon! Glad to see you're on twitter now. Fall starts as soon as the kids go back to school, that's what I say!

  5. Congrats on all your awesome upcoming opportunities. I can't wait to hear all about them.

I can't wait for fall, my favorite season. I just need the weather here to start cooperating.

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
