Fresh Sewing Day (+ a Bonus)

Happy April! The sun is shining here, finally, even though it's still very chilly. I'll take it without complaints, though.

Do you know about Fresh Sewing Day? Lynne at Lily's Quilts hosts a linky each first of the month to celebrate our successes from the previous month. She also hosts a small blog meet-up. Check it out (and wish her a happy 2nd blogaversary)!

Here are some of my finishes/WIPs for March:

Fresh Sewing Day Mosaic- March

And the Bonus I mentioned in the blog post title is that the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild is featuring me on their blog today. Yay!

You may have noticed a change in my blog header. I am thisclose to admitting defeat in my quest to upload a header that a) fits my blog's width and b) doesn't blur the photos. I've followed many tutorials and done much googling to no avail. But I haven't thrown in the towel quite yet. We shall see. The Child is going to a birthday party this afternoon. I will spend the time either cleaning the bathrooms or playing with my blog header. At this point, each task is equally distasteful.

  6. A month of creating such beautiful things couldn't possibly be celebrated by bathroom cleaning or wrestling with the blog header :-)

  7. Your projects are wonderful, I especially love that pillow. Good luck with the blog header, I have not yet figured it out well either.

  8. I'd take working on the header versus cleaning a bathroom any day.

  9. I don't know if I would be any help, but I do my own headers (most of the time). Email me if you would like.

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
