I'm delighted to tell you that I will be participating in my very first blog hop as part of the Modern Mini Challenge organized by Jennifer over at Ellison Lane Quilts.
Who doesn't love a mini quilt or a mug rug? They're a great way to try out a new technique, or to have a quick finish in the middle of a long project. Or they can be a challenge to yourself to take a big idea and make it in mini-form. If you've never made a mini quilt or mug rug, here's an opportunity, and it comes with prizes!!
I quite like the structure of the challenge/contest. The festivities take place from February 6th through to March 9th, and they're split up into inspiration weeks (the blog hop), sewing time, and link-up/contest entry.
There are five (FIVE!!) prizes up for grabs, including the entire line of reprinted Flea Market Fancy, courtesy of Fat Quarter Shop!

ReplyDeleteit's going to be so awesome. i have a mini-quilt that i've been planning for a few months but haven't had time to make it, so i'm thinking this might be the motivation i need!
