What I've Been Up To - By The Numbers

7750: number of kilometres flown in the company of a 3½ year old (thank heavens for personal in-flight entertainment!)
10: days spent with my family
50: games of Boggle lost to my sister
6: cousins whom G was able to visit with again
4: siblings I adore and miss terribly
3: full books read (including Divergent by Veronica Roth - did you love The Hunger Games? You'll love this too!)
1: hurricane (!!!)
542: unread items in my Google Reader (I'm tempted to mark all as read and start over fresh)
0: minutes spent sewing

I had a great time, but I'm so happy to be home. It's a busy, busy week ahead. I have a plan for my For The Love of Solids swap project(s), and fabric has been cut. I gotta get sewing - shipping deadline looms.

I'm also participating in Bag Lady Week over at OCD: Obsessive Crafting Disorder. You read Kristie's blog, right? Good! Because she's awesome. And not just because she is a fellow Canadian! She makes beautiful quilts and knits some great stuff too. Also: hilarious child-related posts.

My tutorial (and giveaway) for a tote bag will be featured this Friday. Please do stop by and check it out!

  1. Glad you had fun. I say delete and start fresh- that is what I do when the #s get too high in reader. Makes me feel overwhelmed and the only way to catch up is to start with a blank slate! :)

Can't wait to see your bag- will be back!

  4. Those are quite the pile of numbers! Welcome home! I laughed about your google reader comment - I've felt that way after getting home from hols, but I just plug through them all, 'coz I'd hate to miss something! Looking forward to Friday!

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
