WIP Wednesday

Oh I am really liking these regular link-up parties - they really motivate me to do stuff!

My WIPs are coming along nicely (hope I haven't jinxed myself!).

Finished this week:
Swap Ornaments
Ornaments (really) Done!
Mug Rug
Mug Rug Complete

WIPs I hope to finish by next week:
1. Sew & Bee Happy Block for Kat.

She's making an Eye Spy quilt for her daughter, but with a really neat twist - the "I Spy" fabrics will be in wonky house blocks. Cool, eh? This is as far as I've progressed on the block:
sketch
Yeah, a sketch. She asked us to add a little something to personalize our blocks, so my block is inspired by my actual townhouse! And I'll include an umbrella since I live in Vancouver. You may have heard that we get a little rain out this way.

2. I also plan to work on my tree skirt, at least basting it.
3. And if the mood moves me, I'll do some Quilt Along sewing too. I'm hopelessly behind but I am still digging my plan for the project so I'm still motivated.

Check out how everyone else is doing over at Lee's for WIP Wednesday!

  1. I'm working on Laundry, I guess that's my WIP today. Then I need to bake an apple pie and pumpkin pie. The kids are home today, so it should be exciting! =)
