House Block for Kat

This is for Sew & Bee Happy - November is Kat's month and she asked for I Spy-style house blocks. I like her twist on the house block - she plans to make these blocks into an Eye-Spy quilt for her daughter, and so she asked us to add a few things for Hannah to spot. And to personalize it if we wanted to.

So I designed the block to look something like our townhouse, and I knew for sure I wanted an umbrella in there. The rest just came to me as I was going through my I Spy fabric stash.

I hope Kat likes it, and I hope Hannah enjoys Spying all the goodies here.

This is a finish for my One Thing One Week challenge over at Amy's Creative Side. Whee!

  4. Very cute house and I like the fabric the sky is made of too. Makes it very dramatic at the same time!
