Simple Sampler Quilt Along - Blocks Done!

I got behind on my Quilt-along, but I caught up this weekend. Hooray!

These are week 7 and 8's blocks, the last four (click to see 'em bigger):

Here are all of the blocks together. Seeing them in a photo is really helpful for figuring out how to lay them out. Blobs of colour or too much light/dark really show up, don't they?

So happy these are finished!

I think I've figured out who is getting this quilt: my sister's big birthday that starts with a 4 is happening next month. I should be able to get this puppy done by then. I have already begun to think of how I'm going to quilt it. Stay tuned.
