Cops For Cancer Quilt - quilted!

I'm on a roll, people. Another of my 2010 Spring to Finish Challenge tasks has been completed! I may even get this baby bound by the deadline. Yay!

I had a small amount of quilting left to do and got stymied by running out of thread, a variegated thread that isn't available in Canada (Signature brand). I finally found some Mettler in the same colours (who knew straight up primary colours would be so hard to find?) and put it on my Spring to Finish Challenge 2010 list to motivate me to finish it.

The pattern is a mystery quilt I did on a quilt retreat in 2006 and it's been a UFO/WIP ever since. But I am close to finishing it now - and I enjoy binding quilts so hopefully it won't be another 4 years before it's done!
A little closer look at some of the quilting. It's stippled in the black background.

This quilt was great practice for my stippling skills! Too bad it barely shows up on the front! (D'oh!)

I'll be donating this to Cops for Cancer. There was a specific ask for quilts for slightly older kids so I thought this would be perfect.

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
