I saw this Kaffe Fassett fabric at my LQS and couldn't pass it up. It looks like a tiny fabric mosaic; I love it. Inspired by some modern quilts I've seen in blogland, I made my first-ever purchase of a solid fabric to go with it.
I imagined it in a coin-type layout and this is what I've come up with so far. I may make the printed panels narrower - I'm going to sleep on it. This little ditty is going to hang in my office and I can't wait!
Edited: I did change the layout and now it's been basted, and the quilting should be done this weekend.
