Friday Felicities

The sun is shining, I successfully delivered a talk to our company's senior executive yesterday, G slept through the night more nights than not this week, and I've got a joint Fraser Valley Modern Quilt Guild/Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild sew-in tomorrow. Life is good.

I have been meaning to do a wee giveaway as a thank you to you lovely readers - just because you're lovely. So here it is - a chance to win a copy of Quilting Modern by Jacquie Gering and Katie Pedersen.

    Great choice for a giveaway! I'm glad to hear you had so many felicities this week. The sew-in sounds wonderful but I think I may be a bit more jealous of the uninterrupted sleep!

    I was packing my craft books, and all my fabric, and I realized I have almost no (I mean I have 1) quilting books! That surprised me. I have several scrapbooking and crocheting books. I have different photo albums with crochet patterns and I don't know how many scrapbook albums but no quilting books! I just thought that was crazy!

    It's a pleasure to be one of your readers. I don't have time to write a post today, but a little Friday Felicitiy is that I was able to get my 3-year-old's hair into pigtails today. All of it. It took 8 elastics, but it is all in. :)

    I wish my 3yo was sleeping through the night more often than not! He always has since 3 months old, but since he moved out of the cot into a bed he's creeping into our bed when he wakes during the night. I could move him back and there's tears and loud yelling, sometimes it's easier to let him stay. Thanks for the chance to win!
