WIP Wednesday

Hello there, friends! I am delighted to report that I managed to get in some quality sewing time at another of Krista's day retreats!

Great Progress Was Made On....

The memory quilt! It's been all quilted, the appliqués are attached, and it's ready to be bound. Tonight? Perhaps! Here's a sneak peek of some of the quilting motifs I FMQd:

My last report about this quilt was also after a QBTB! It's my retreat quilt!

I also made August's block for Brioni in Stash Trad over the course of last week:

Lone Starburst for Brioni
Foundation paper piecing pattern templates found here.

Not going to lie - this block was time-consuming! But the effects are marvelous. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

Also Worked On...

Backing and basting some charity quilt tops. One is basted, the other is about to be. Exciting!

  10. I use those little free motion leaves quite often on my quilts, they translate to hearts on child size quilts, too That start still amazes me..
