That Double Latte at 3:30 pm = Bad Idea Jeans

Jewel Box Squares so far...

Still awake. 12:37 am. Tomorrow's going to suuuuuck.

What doesn't suck? That I have a great head start on a quilt for our bed, and that I (think) I still have a couple more blocks to come. Yay, bees!

The fabric is mostly Spa by Rosemarie Lavin, with Kona White. The blue wavy print is by Anna Griffin, but I got it on the sale table at my LQS and don't remember the name of the collection.

  1. Your bee blocks look great, lucky you!! You're going to have an awesome quilt for your bed :) Hopefully by then, you'll come down from your caffeine high and be able to sleep! ;)

  2. I had the same problem on Sunday, but never thought to get up and quilt. That would have been perfect! Your blocks are beautiful :) Taking a nap today?

  3. Love this. I'm actually thinking of doing something similar for our bee next month. I just can't quite commit yet. I really like how this is coming together.

  4. Caffeine never used to affect me, until a few months ago. I had a diet coke while sewing (til like 2am....) and then couldn't fall asleep when i finally dragged myself to bed! I usualy fall asleep really easily, and laying there away was horrible!

Love the blocks. The colors are so great, I think it will look great as a bed quilt!!

  6. Your post title sent me straight to youtube. Then I had to rewatch the ad for mom jeans...hilarious. Have you read Tina Fey's memoir? She has a really interesting section on how they choose and make the fake ads for SNL.

Great blocks, by the way :)

  9. Oh yeah, that would be me. No coffee after noon for this little over-active imagination.
