Swappy Goodness

Hooray! My ornaments for the Flickr Trim the Tree Handmade Ornament Swap are done and ready to be mailed. I got lots of great feedback and suggestions for how to hang these, and I ended up with two grommets in each one, with ricrac! EVERYTHING is better with ricrac.
Ornaments (really) Done!
And I am almost done my mugrug for the second Scrappy Mug Rug Swap, also on Flickr.
Mug Rug - nearly there!
Just pondering how I will quilt the circle of geese. Maybe a circle through each one? And/or around the outside? Suggestions welcome.

  2. Love the mug rug design! It leaves a perfect spot for a mug of hot chocolate in the middle of the flying geese (assuming someone would be daring enough to use this piece of art!).

  4. Yay! you finished. My ornaments are in the working...maybe I'll attempt to sew them tomorrow. Grommet...glad you knew what on earth I was talking about. =) I like how it looks in my sample...I just used a single at the top, but my ornaments look like tags. I love your idea...and you'll see I did tree's too!

That mug rug is awesome! I love the circle of geese. I'm sorry I don't have a clue on quilting, cause I haven't really done anything yet...I love to see everyone's ideas though!

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
