Quilt Along Fabrics

Because I don't have nearly enough on my to-sew list (nyuk nyuk nyuk - as IF), I've joined another Quilt-Along over at That Girl That Quilt.

They're a great way to try something new, or to get to some fabrics you've been stashing. It's very much my style - doing a little bit at a time.

So I'm going to be making a Rainbow I Spy quilt. An I Spy (or "eye spy" as it's sometimes called) is a quilt that's made with fabrics that can be used to play "I Spy" - conversationals, odd motifs, etc.

I've chosen 5 I Spy charms in 8 colours to follow ROYGBV plus white on black and black on white.

Still working on the cutting (it's slow going because I'm using some FQs and scraps, and I am trying to make sure ahead of time that I've got enough to go round).

  1. This will be a super fun quilt! I have a charm pack I've been wanting to use so I think I'll join too. It looks like it's going to be a cool quilt, but not that complicated to sew. Right up my alley!

I *love* comments, and I try to respond to every one by email (but I can't if you're a no-reply blogger!). So go on, don't be shy - leave one to let me know you've stopped by!
